We have a large showroom and a lot of great products to choose from. We have mattresses, mattress bases, solid wood furniture, upholstered furniture, bedding and linens, locally-made items, and much more. (Plus, we always try to keep a variety of sizes and colours in stock to choose from!)

We want to make your experience with us as smooth as possible. We offer a comprehensive delivery service which will bring your purchase right to you, or we are happy to arrange a pick-up at our store (curbside pick-up available, too).

The History Behind Dreamland Sleep Shop

Dreamland Sleep Shop first opened its doors to the Sunshine Coast in June of 2000 by Darren and Kim Rennie.

Darren brought foundational knowledge of the mattress industry with him, having already devoted many years of his life to this industry. He started out with a job in sales, working his way up to eventually become a national corporate trainer for a well known international mattress company. Darren uses the knowledge he has attained throughout his career to ensure he only brings the best of what is currently available on the market today into his store. He knows how manufacturers operate, and the actual construction process and craftsmanship of a mattress. Darren will only source mattresses and sleep products that he truly believes are quality made and will offer our customers support and a great night’s sleep for years to come.

Kim brought with her many years of knowledge and experience in the bedding and linen industry. Her career began working for a top class travel and tourism operator; she had the opportunity to travel around the world to many of their resort destinations for her expert opinion on how they can perfect their guests’ experience through details like top quality bedding, linens, towels, and robes. Kim has established great relationships with top quality bedding and linen companies and truly understands the “resort-quality” aspect of bedding we all desire. Kim works with local vendors to bring in the best quality bedding and linens, made close to home.

Darren and Kim together have together created Dreamland Sleep Shop as we know it today. They have raised their children here on the Sunshine Coast and keep the community close to their heart. They believe that “Good sleep is good health!” After over 22 years in business on the Sunshine Coast, Darren and Kim continue to honor their values and this is what sets Dreamland Sleep Shop apart from anyone else.
